Summer passes quickly, and before we know it, autumn is already here.
The off-season begins — quieter, calmer — as the colours change and the mountains slowly settle into a truly special atmosphere.
This is one of my favourite times of the year, just before the rivers close. A season I particularly enjoy for navigating, fly fishing, and spending nights in bivouac, deep in wild and remote environments.
Fewer people, softer light, crisp mornings, and rivers that feel more alive than ever — these moments are rare, intense and deeply rewarding.
